Pastor Dr. Karen Baker

Dr. Karen L. Baker was born in Brunswick, Ga, and moved to Jacksonville, FL in the early nineties. She started her journey as a preacher of the gospel as the Pastor of Faith Building Ministries where she resided for more than five years. Led by God’s word she changed the name and focus of the ministry to Kingdom Builders of Faith. She and her husband Pastor Andrew Baker have been blessed to shepherd God’s flock. 

Her love for the Lord started more than 27 years ago. She is a prominent scholar with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Organizational Management, from Edwards Waters University where she graduated as the Salutatorian, and a bachelor’s degree in Applied Theology from Logos University. Her desire to master biblical studies led to her earning her Doctorate Degree in Educational Theology and Evangelism from Truth Bible University. 

As an advocate for the development of women and led by Christ, she formed the Women’s Support group “Wonder Women of Faith.” A place where women married, and single gather together under the covenant of the gospel in a confidential environment to discuss issues close to their hearts. Their mission is to support each other through testimonies and experiences. 

Pastor Baker continues to seek elevation in God’s kingdom and walks in a strong desire to please Him. Her gift is teaching his people to live a peaceful and productive life guided by the Word of Christ. And in her spare time, she is a Christian Life Coach and co-author of the book “Fifty Shades of Prayer.”

Pastor Andrew Baker

Pastor Andrew Baker is a faithful and dedicated member of Kingdom Builders of Faith. He is an anointed leader and husband of Pastor Karen Baker. They have been married for 49 years and he has five children. Together, they have three children: Michael, Latisha, and Adrianna. He has been blessed with the Spirit of Evangelism. Due to his expertise in building, he constantly brings innovative ways to reach God’s people.

Elder Baker is a Retired entrepreneur. Before his retirement, he was an upholsterer who is well known around the community in Jacksonville, FL. His business name was Andrew’s Custom Upholstery. His life has been spent providing for his family through the skills and talent God faithfully awarded him. He faithfully walks beside the Senior Pastor and is committed to the vision.

Dedicating his life totally to Christ caused him to be a tremendous leader and an essential part of Kingdom Builders of Faith. Pastor Baker is most known for these words “DO THE WORD”.

“Our vision is to prepare people to walk in purpose: leading people to serve in the Kingdom of God. We will strengthen others through Biblical Education as well as Academic education via tutoring and adult education. We will grow the community by developing a ministry for the elderly and the unfortunate. Our goals shall also include strengthening, encouraging, empowering, and supporting believers in the word of God using biblical principles.
